Alliena received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University and her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Concorde Career College. Prior to receiving her PTA degree, Alliena was a cheerleader, plays softball, football, and enjoys hiking. As a lifelong athlete, she has encountered injuries and endured the rehab journey, which has helped her receive a better understanding of the steps it takes to safely recover, to return to sports and everyday activities, and the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. She enjoys empowering her patients and encouraging them to move by using a combination of physical therapy, yoga, and pilates based exercises. She also utilizes joint mobilizations, proprioceptive neuromuscular rehabilitation, soft tissue mobilizations, and is certified in Kinesio taping.
